As Owner and President of Blue Heron Communications, Gary founded the agency in 1987 as a place where business and marketing acumen could work in conjunction with a passion for the outdoors. Following professional success as the voice of a governor, host of the NRA radio show and account leader for industry giant like Remington, KODAK, DuPont and many others, Gary is proud to provide clients with a better, more efficient alternative for their marketing communications programs.

Whether it’s stalking wild game (he has three trophies qualifying for the Boone and Crockett record books) or searching for a new fishing hole (he has fished in over 42 states and seven countries to go along with his trio of Top-10 BASS tournament finishes), Gary’s free time is always spent outdoors.
