Blue Heron Communications attracts birds of a feather: everyone here loves and understands the outdoors. Each has an extensive background in corporate communications, including some of the most prestigious advertising and public relations agencies, daily newspapers and national magazines. This flock produced quality radio, television and print in the “outside world” before switching ove
r to a full time outdoor regimen. We consider it a reward for work well done. At the same time, we know much work remains undone — YOUR work.

Blue Heron’s work has been on behalf of some of the biggest names in the outdoors like Smith & Wesson, Marlin Firearms, The Coleman Company, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Boone and Crockett Club, Gerber Legendary Blades, Dallas Safari Club, Wrangler Rugged Wear, Ranger Boats, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Remington, National Hunting and Fishing Day, Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, Pure Fishing and many others.

The average client stays with Blue Heron Communications more than eight years with some now in their second decade with the agency. We’re accessible to both clients and media 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can be just about anywhere in the country in less than a day. We pride ourselves in our ability to not only work with the more than 4,000 outdoor journalists in this country, but also in our great success with national, mainstream media as proven by our product placements on Good Morning America, the Today Show, Myth Busters and countless others. We know the outdoor industry better than any agency in the world; we know your customers, and — needless to say – we know public relations.

At Blue Heron Communications, we employ a wide range of proven tactics to insure our clients receive the most value from their marketing communications dollar. Contact Blue Heron Communications today to see how an experienced, professional and knowledgeable marketing partnership can drive sales by keeping your brand and products top of mind with consumers and media.

WHERE PROFICIENCY MEETS PASSION

Modest Beginnings: Blue Heron Communications started in a spare bedroom of this colonial-era home in Honeyoye Falls, New York.

First BHC Office, Downtown Honeyoye Falls, New York

Fit for a Heron: After moving back to Oklahoma and enduring a couple of smaller offices, Blue Heron moved into its custom-built, 5,500-square-foot office (complete with pond, waterfall and a seven-plus-pound, foul-tempered smallmouth bass) in 2006.

Well, let’s face it: “Giudice Communications” doesn’t have much of a ring to it (it’s pronounced “Jew-duh-see” in case you’ve wondered – a slight departure from Gary’s and Ron’s Italian-by-way-of-the-Ozarks roots). And besides, our business focus and personal passions are in the outdoors, so we wanted to capture that with something iconic and meaningful to hunters and anglers alike.

The Great Blue Heron definitely fit the bill. For hunters in search of wary waterfowl and other game, a blue heron near the decoy spread can give the ducks and geese the extra bit of confidence they need to fly within shooting range. For anglers, a blue heron in the water can mean a school of baitfish in the area – and where there are baitfish there are sure to be bigger fish trying to eat them.

And that’s how we see ourselves: a friend to hunters and anglers everywhere; a good sign to companies looking to gain momentum in a competitive and highly lucrative marketplace.http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/great_blue_heron/idhttp://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/great_blue_heron/id
